.. All I can Say is

BuBBa Burgers, and all you could eat BUBBA BURGERS.. I have no idea what Burks food budget was but it had to be a Biggie just like there Burgers.. Who the hell gives away free all you can eat Bubba's and the crowd was sizable that's equates to one hell of a lot of free food, and drinks. Amazing

Great Event, a little distance and some shore traffic but we moved through it just fine.

I guess even though Dave has a top this year, he'll showup Topless again.
and the Herbie family was out in force..

The Burke Motor Group loves us and wants to do a little extra for us. Below is an e-mail Francey  Burke sent me, so for a head count Who is going

Hi Jack, I have been getting some registrations from folks from your VW club, which is super!

I would like to have a special gift in addition to the welcome gift for your club, how many vehicles do you think will register?  I think you mentioned about a dozen or so, just wanted to make sure since I will be ordering the gift soon.  An approximate number would be fine.
Thanks so much!

We are adding vendors to the show this year for an added feature. Remember, all the FREE food & drinks you can stuff in your little tummies

It's not the glass and seats I'm worried about. Gonna need to get that engine finished (started!!!) and installed.

Richard..
Even if the car's not done and running you can always bring it as a "Richard Flintstone"

Might be a little ruff on your shoes and shoulders carrying that heavy load heading down the expressway, but we can all help taking turns and get you there.

I thought George was going to check that engine and heads a couple of months ago, did he? Engine can be done in a day if heads are OK.......

I'm waiting for George to find time to do an align bore for the crank so I can order the correct size bearings. He'll check the valve guides at the same time. The case is at the Taj now and I'm bringing the heads over there tonight. Other than ordering the new crank and rod bearings I've got to order new exhaust studs - which I'm doing as soon as I finish this post. It's frustrating - I can't find a single supplier that has everything I need. Going to have to order from at least two places.

I'd love to get the engine mounted onto the chassis before dropping the body, but I don't think it has a chance of happening.
