Westies at Watkins event has evolved allowing VW drivers to become participants in the Grand Prix weekend. Track side camping at the Watkins Glen International Raceway during the 2017 US Vintage Grand Prix race weekend.
This camping event is sponsored by the Empire VW Camping Club with a special invitation from The Glen! (

Special week-end pricing package will be available to all VW owners.
2017 VW Owners Package
$100 package includes 1 general admission and 1 reserved campsite with our group (Area C) - let Rob know that you are with the VW Group.
Additional weekend admission is $40 per person. Teens are $15 and Children under 12 Free.

All VWs are welcomed. Westies are not required; and tenting is OK. Activities for all car enthusiast, including access to these vintage race car pits and paddock to get up close to these great race cars. The best part is when they are done racing, we will get to take our VWs around the track for several laps, while being cheered on by the on looking crowds. They love our vintage VWs and everyone cheers. Plenty of vintage automobile activities in the town as well with parades and road rallies. (if we can organize enough of us we too can participate in a road rally). The theme cars for this year will be Corvettes.
