DUST-UM-OFF CRUISE
« on: April 19, 2008, 06:06:17 pm »

I don't know about the rest of you all, but I had a great time today. The cruise went off without a hitch and the food was good. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS AND i WILL POST THE MOVIE TONIGHT OR TOMORROW.

As ALWAYS, I take all the photos and never get in any.  :icon_cry:

Jack, everybody

Hey it was a GREAT time! I'll cruise with you guys anytime!
Great weather, great route and just a fun time going down the road as part of a VW caravan. Can't wait to see the vids! We should plan a fall cruise, possibly out in the pine barrens when the leaves are changing, what do you guys think?

Sorry I missed the cruise - Looks like it was GREAT!

I would have looked silly driving a 2000 Caravan!

OH, its barren of pines so I guess its other types of trees that turn color. Now I get it.  :icon_study:

Anyway a cruise to Smithville or points south would be fun.

I use to live in Smithville & now I live in Sweetwater which is about 15 miles north of there. I know a lot of really nice senic roads in this area that run past lakes & Mullica River old mills histric churchs etc. Vertually no traffic lights & all two lane roads. Once your off the pike you will see no commerical entities at all. Only down side is that we have to share the roads with all the motorcylists that also enjoy them. Smithville itself is OK but in reality it's tourist trap. The town of Smithville never excisted, it was invented. I think there might be a place right on the river to park if you want to brown bag it. Will scope it out if you want.
