I just got a phone call from the one of the Newfield organizers who would like to see VW's in the parade and car show.
Newfield Day, the one with the fireworks and lots of really good food. Even the top politiicians (like that's important) are there to shake hands. Unfortunately it is August 21, the same day as Punch Buggy. I told them we wont be able to make it this year.
He also invited us to attend Newfield Night Out on August 9th- that's a Tuesday. I have never been to this and I believe it's something new. There will be food and good times.

Newfield is about 15 minutes south of Jacks house.
