SJVWC Annual Picnik

Sunday June 9th

Washington Lake Park- Lot C

Always the one event you don't want to miss. Plenty of room for your car to show and plenty of food for you to eat. Joe will once again be the Master of Ceremonies with his non stop carnival of fun and games. Win some prizes, see some old friends and finally get to see what other members are driving.

Joe is going to have a lot more info here including the menu for the day. We encourage everybody to bring a dish of something. And maybe if we are lucky, Jack will sing for us.

Dont miss our second biggest event of the year. This is our 14th birthday and picnic celebration. Yeah, I know last year was the 14th. BUT I checked the dates and this year is really our 14th year. It was 2005 that I met Jack at Prestige VW car show and well... you all know the rest..  Flag*

Please post to this thread what you plan to bring to this year's picnic (June 10th), as well as, how many in your party so we can get enough food.

Club will provide Burgers, hot dogs, cheese, buns, plates, napkins, plastic ware (forks, knives, spoons) and cooking utensils. AND THE BIRTHDAY CAKE

Suggestions for what you can bring:

Charcoal  -
table clothes (for 6-10 picnic tables)  - Joe T.-(4)
soda (cans please)
juice and iced-tea -
ice and coolers
ketchup / mustard / mayonnaise -
potato chips / pretzels /snacks Nick C. (2)
potato salad
pasta salad
baked beans    Jack
Any other main dish
DESSERTS- Pies, cookies, etc.
AND/OR any gourmet items you tend to be famous for.

We'll pickup the potato chips/pretzels/snacks. We'll bring a dessert too. Sounds like a good time! Thanks Joe T for arranging this cool shindig!

Just the two of us for the head count.
