Soaked the upper hinge pin on the right door of the Bug today
with PB.  Already had tried WD-40 and Liquid-Wrench with no
success.  &m& m-d2 m-d   Will try to remove the pin tomorrow.
Tried the Air Hammer method also, all it did was splatter rusty
oil all over the door and fender.
Will use the giant C-Clamp method tomorrow morning and try to
push the pin out   :wallbash:

Went to the garage, got a flat blade, put it under the seat and pulled my seat out. Took about a minute, because it comes out through the back, not the front  P#3 P#3
Put screw driver away and got a cold beverage and watched the Phillies  BO**

Hope to do the seats this weekend...

Checked my car at 5:30 AM 'cause I looked and said to myself "Hmmmm, I don't remember leaving that gate opened" Meanie was sleeping comfortably in the back yard  &&&&

Tip O the Day... Charcoal Lighter is a great penetrating oil. It is so thin it migrates into the smallest voids.

Tip O some other day. When trying to free stuck screws or bolts, a good hit (brass hammer or punch)  ./// can rearrange things at the molecular level and can make it easier to loosen

Went down to Discount Tire, 4 new 165R15's , then over to
WM for a new battery.

Expensive day, but well worth it   P#3

Came home, washed the Bug, ready for the  vwlogo  88*88 cruise tonight.  drive&&

Early this morning I turned on the air compressor and cleaned the floor in the garage and all the dust on the Rod and did a little sanding, tomorrow I plan on putting the car on jack stands in preparation to paint it. I did buy the paint last week at tractor supply in Millville but I have to go back for the hardener, I've bee trying to get there for the past two day but didn't make it, maybe tomorrow. I have to touch up a few spots with bondo and a little more primer also. I'm still not sure if I am going to two tone it or not.
