removing the horn button

Any early model guys know how to remove the horn button with out breaking it or the horn ring? I've got to find a short somewhere.

Fellow 36 hp buddy,
There should be a slot on the buttom of the horn ring, the part the button sits in, and just pry the ring out of the wheel carefully.

Yha, what Mr. congeniality above said.   Pops right off. You can do it with your fingers.
