Thank You

For the video on "How to change a generator" (the easy way)
I found the video on while searching on line at U-Tube.

It had a reference to SJVWC.net in the video, so i joined the Forum.
This is a GREAT forum for anybody interested in VW's.

I have a 67 Bug, with a '73  1600 dual port engine.  My sister-inlaw
gave the car to me after her husband had past away.
In the last year and a half I have spent many hours working on
the little car.  It needed a lot of tender loving care.  The list seems
endless of the items that needed replacing or rebuilding.
Lucky the base engine and tranny are in good shape.

Will keep you posted as work progresses

Thanks Again                      Yuma in Yuma,Az

There's a couple of ways... If you have a personal web site already up (like Picasa or facebook or one with your ISP) you can just link to the url by pressing the INSERT IMAGE button and pasting the URL between the {img} {\img} that it puts in the reply window. (I changed [ to { so you could see it)

If you dont have a site go   http://sjvwc.net/Gallery/main.php and register.

BTW if you have YouTube videos up, you can just paste the URL directly into your reply and it will make a YouTube player window automagically!

 Welcome Yuma.

But don't let those guys fool you  @7@. Because we learned almost everything we know from these guys.. http://dhpvw.com/blog/  and they are right in your back yard. OK, maybe front yard but they are also there for you. Ask for or look for Lamorris he's the dude that puts up the  $61$ crazy  c23 Video's..
Enjoy, and Best of Luck. Jay  vwlogo

Bahaha is right  :icon_cheesygrin:  Yuma is in the south west corner of Arizona.
Just across the Colorado River from Calif. and Mexico.
Half way between San Diego & Phoenix .....on I-8.....  about 165 miles either way.
We tend to measure distance in hours here in the west (six packs when i was younger)
So 3 hours to San Diego or Phoenix. Tucson is 275 miles southeast.
Most all of your winter lettuce (and vegies) comes from the Yuma area.
A small city of about 100,000 with 4 walmarts and an open 1 sq. mile mall
Our population more than doubles in the winter months.
Lots of old men in great big trucks pulling 5th wheels. Only got run off the
road once this last winter.
Nice today only 104 warm tomorrow 107.  (But it is a dry heat, 10 percent humidity)

Hey Bahaha  ./// ... It's like in football and the Goal Line, there is no limit to it's distance. Front or Back door it's all the same. Ok, maybe the side door? But who  really gives a F,  :wallbash: my reference was that there is a very cool VDub car right in his own state. Ok, maybe Lemorris is strange, but only when he dresses in that dress and were's a mask  @7@ . But  $61$  none the less.. Or he can always jump over to Riverside Ca to some of the cool  vwlogo shops there.
