Ratu is going to be 95% stock...But I like the look of the bare metal in the engine bay. What is the real purpose of the OE tar boards anyway ??? is it for sound deadning and/or for heat isulation !6!

Thanks guys, just wanted to be sure I was on the right track :icon_tongue:...Of one more thing, I'll still have heat if I don't have a thermostat right ??? Could not even add one if I wanted to. Mexican blocks don't have the threaded hole as they discontinued instaling thermostats on Mexican Beetles

yes, I have "heat" and I don't have a thermo, or all the proper tins.
