You got it all wrong John its all about updates on the Clubs Events on Twitter, Face Book and Yahoo Groups, putting the Clubs name on the more popular social networks as possible to promote the clubs name and activities and showing what a dynamic, progressive club we are, , it's not about my life.

When you post to Twitter (Called a Tweet) it is an announcement to all YOUR followers.

I don't follow NJLovebus, so I'll never see your Tweet. I only follow SJVWC, SJRA, Lemorris, Alex from Ice Road truckers and Dubs on the Boards

If they Tweet, I get it on my phone & email.

Only people who follow NJLovebus will see what you send

It's not that I dont love you, I just hate twitter. I use it only to follow announcements of the groups I belong to. (And Alex from Ice Road Truckers 'cause he's a scream!)

BUT, like you,  I know the value of getting the word out. So when I became President I obtained SJVWC as a twitter name.

I Tweet all of the events, day before & day of.

I also opened the Facebook Group SJVWC. It works like Twitter and I can announce events. The difference with the Facebook Group is any member can announce there. Twitter is accessible only by the president. Not because I want it that way, but because I was the only one who showed interest in it at the time I opened it.

So what exactly are you trying to do with Twitter?
