                  The only crotch cooler I know of of were on much older cars like this

Yes, It is called a crotch cooler by the V-Dub world. This had a hose which hooked up behind the horn grills on the front fenders. This was an add on option in the '60s. if my memory is... %$oldcit what were we talking about? :confused04:;
