Post by: Beetleboi -Greg- on September 09, 2009, 06:27:44 pm
Header, Magnaflow Muffler with flange to fit header, single quiet pack muffler in exchange for a duel out tri-mill ceramic muffler. Header etc is still on car less than a year old.

Don't like how low the header hangs, and if the tow truck becomes a habit it will start getting annoying!!  m-d

Have you seen this? : http://vwtrends.automotive.com/59397/0109vwt-volkswagen-exhaust-test/index.html (http://vwtrends.automotive.com/59397/0109vwt-volkswagen-exhaust-test/index.html)

It might help you to decide what setup to run. Do lots of research. MOST of the exhaust systems out there are junk with thin/cheap flanges and dodgy provisions for properly hanging the mufflers etc. I'm rollin' with my stock system until I get the turbo motor done  I1t

Yeah, I just really don't like the header systems. They hang too low even the header itself. Not looking for power increase, just sound. I had a stock set up with gt tips before I got the header and sounded nice. That's why I'm going with the gt tri-mill.
