Ok, you all know that I have to post something...   #@rofl3

I've been to a lot of car club Christmas  parties , and that was ~by far~ the best one  I have ever attended.  Taylors is really nice inside, the food was excellent, the service was beyond compare.     The most amazing part was what an incredible job Joe, Shawn, Jack, Glen and all of the others involved ( sorry if I don't know who you are!) did coordinating this event.  The prizes were wonderful,  the trivia challenge was incredible,  and the entertainment was superb!!   I haven't had that much fun in.....  gosh, I don't know when.  Here's the clincher... Matthew my 8 yr old wasn't bored!!!     All of you parents know what a big deal that is!  #@rofl3

So sincere thanks for a phenomenal event,  and I look forward to seeing all of you very soon!!   byeby.,

Seriously, We had a great time, 2!  The trophies were awesome and all the prizes were cool!  Thanks for all your hard work!  It was a great event.  I will apologize to everyone at Karen's table for the elf microphone--  Didn't realize just how annoying that elf voice was untill the ride home!   #@rofl3  I promise to leave that home during future events!

Again, Great job to everyone who worked so hard to put the party together and to the entertainment~  very talented trio!!

Tyler, you owned that period correct Victorian Santa Suit  clap2-*

I can't even BEGIN to tell you how embarrassed I was!!!!

All in good fun. I'll post photos of the "Dubious" awards later but in case you missed it last night, KV got an award  thumpup)-

KV first joined our forums in July 2009, made half a dozen post then disappeared for 2 years only to reappear in July 2011 and in 3 short months has made over 1,400 posts

Now this is hard to believe, but true, KV out posted Greg in his first 3 months by 1,342 posts and SHE doesn't even answer her own posts like Greg.

We love her and she brought a new spark to the forums, which is great.

Soooo, The ?Most prolific poster since Beetle Boi? award goes to kvbug

Another Great Party, and thanks again for those who tipped. It'll help buy more beer... I mean music for next year's gig. Hopefully Matt will be able to play some polkas by then, and we'll have some Lady Gaga for Jack. The awards were all great, Shawn I love how your mind works!

Thats nice Shawn, everyone should see how proud we are of her. It's not everyone that gets an award with only being a member for 3 months.

I had a great time as well! The food is second to none!!! Taylor's has some of the BEST foods and hostess! Sherry and the other waitress was on ice-skates, they took great care of us!
I'm humbled for the Bud Award, I eat sleep breathe VWs, it's a great in-expensive way to enjoy the car crazy hobby! I try to help-out anyone that doesn't know much or anything of their vehicle. Majority of the time it's a simple fix or adjustment. As for attending shows, I love it! mingling and learning about other cars and interest... Like i always tell ppl on the street, restore them, don't destroy them!
                               SJVWC rocks!!!!

There isn't much I can say that hasn't been said already. Thanks for the award, but it was all of you that made it possible. There are so many to people to thank, that if try to mention all the names I'm going to leave someone out.

Taylors did a great job on the food. As already mentioned the service was top-shelf, thanks to Sherry and Lisa.
Shawn did a magnificent-creative job on the awards. All the members that donated to the awards table, a very large thanks.   clap2-*

This was the first year we did the two-tier raffle. Everybody in the general raffle got a win, we plan for that.
But I never imagined that in the member's only raffle, every member would get a prize. And that is thanks to the extra gifts provided by members especialy Ramon- the Bananna wax was awsome.   thumpup)-

 So true, so true.........

Everyone who contributed to the making of the party... THANK YOU!!

The dubious awards were great, thanks to Shawn for taking the time to make them, and to put such creative thought to them all!  Absolutely fantastic, and THANKS AGAIN!

Joe did a wonderful job as years before, great job with the songs Joe, and thank your wife for the centerpieces!!!!!!!!!!!!!  , the detail touches like that really stand out to make the party all the more festive

Everyone at our table was complimenting the food!  It was great!

THANKS TO EVERYONE  - even those who came help make it a great party!

  Great party, great club!!

I would like to offer my thanks for all who were involved in putting the party together, this was my first, and for the great people at my table.
Thank you also to the couple of people that had to move a little so I could get my walker through.  Next year I?ll try to sit closer to the entrance.
Maybe the highlight for me was my 20 year old son Paul had a great time as well.  He enjoyed talking to Gregg and is excited about getting my 73 Super beetle on the road so he can use it next year at college.

Actually it's more complicated than that. It's not actually the camping that causes Busitis.
It's the sleeping on the ground (http://www.cristoferdelatorre.com/emoticonosgratis/emoticonos/de_acampada.gif)

Great Christmas Party!!  Joe - phenomenal! Kathy's table decorations were adorable. Shawn's awards were excellent. Glen - thanks for keeping all the attendees/payees/tickets straight! The trio was amazing! Thanks to Tracy & Jack for documenting it!   clap2-*

Good food and good companions... can't beat that!    =+grouphu9

Heather - as for the bug... I was bitten in '96 so my 1st car was a beetle. Now, 5 bugs/1 Cabriolet/and 3 buses later, I still have bugitis/busitis. In other words, it doesn't get cured, it just intensifies with time and you'll just end up getting more and more VW's. But that's a good thing!!   thumpup)-
