3 big boxes from Busdepot... One from Van-Cafe with the other half of the shipment arriving this morning with enough parts (it seems like) to build a whole Vanagon!

Going to be a busy weekend prepping for re-assembly

Got a used hinge door assembly for the bus...

Door pops open on its own, and the alignment is almost perfect. I installed the exhaust... sort of, having trouble telling if the valves are just loud or it's leaking from the cylinder head to manifold flange... boy were those gasket things a PIA. I guess it's simply when the engine is out and upside down. I think that the exhaust studs need to go in futher to create a tighter fit. I'm saving it for another day. I'm just happy that the door works now, no more freaking out when I have to pee!

Miss you all,

Replaced the exaust on my bug this weekend.  This has been the rough running problem since day one. Runs beautifully now. Sounds great too.  :jump4jo":
