Pat got the welding done yesterday and I got the gas tank back in, ground the welds down.

Now all that has to be done is his radio hooked up and Shawn (the radio Guru) said he would do that thumpup)-

Put on new battery terminals hoping maybe they were shot, nope. Still not holding chargee. I feel like I'm moving in circles. Was hoping the battery was going to be dead when I got in to start the car... it wasnt . Hoping for a short. Can't test amps without a multimeter. When jumping the car battery pulls power right away from other car, then the power drops at a rate of .002 volts every second. Alternator works at the parts store, I just don't think it works in my car. I know belts were moved when the ac was deleted but that should affect the speed or direction the alternator spins. The output for the alt is the same (drops) as the battery. With the toyota hooked up to the cabriolet the voltage is at its highest at 13.5ish. I'm done with the cabriolet for today... I'm going to patch the busses exhaust leak so it'll be ready for inspection Saturday.

Worked on Glen's buggy today. Tranny is in! Had some trouble with the tranny. Had to change the nose cone because some one cut and welded the front mount and modified the split tranny nose cone. I had to use a bus nose cone and '62 front mount with the small rubber to make it line up for the shift rod. Good thing I keep all that junk (stuff)! Adjusted the rear brakes. I plan to work on the engine tomorrow. Too tired for picts, take some tommorow 40sleep3

I seem to remember that suggestion being levied at the very FIRST sign of this trouble  ?/banghea?/
