Is anyone interested in coming to my VW super sale for SJVWC Members? If so, let me know when is the best time to have the sale. I am fully retired now, so I am home most of the time. I can have a 2 day sale on Friday- Saturday or Saturday- Sunday?

Also we can meet evenings now it is light enough. I am busy Monday nights, so that is the only evening not good for me.

Still working on a date. We are in the middle of a new roof and siding job here. Our house was damaged by the hail storm last May. We finally settled with the insurance company! Don't give up on me Members, good things to come very soon!
-
hell with the house Bob- are the cars ok?
wa\ve
-
Yes, except for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited which was outside. $2000 later it was fixed. I was worried the insurance co. was going to total it. But, they paid to fix it by a paint-less dent expert recommended by them. You can't tell it was touched. Amazing how they do that with all the cool tools!
-
I have been very busy. It took me two years but, I finally finished a deal of a life time. ^banana= Pictures coming soon. I am too busy dragging Bugs home right now. Keep tuned! ^stirpot- old-\

Almost done dragging Bugs home. Too many parts to list them all but, here is a sample. At least 40 fenders, 4 hoods, 6 deck lids, 12 doors (including Ghia), 14 bumpers, 20 some seats (including Ghia and one Bus bottom), I don't know how many hub caps rims and tires, several sets of wheel adapters, 3 front Beams, at least 10 gas tanks, at least 10 heater boxes, 10 generators, several sets of door rain visors, side & back glass, one Baja engine cage, two rear clips, 5 mostly whole cars (one is perfect for Anthony), one car shell and the list of small parts goes on and on ...
All of the stuff ranges from the early 60s to the mid 70s. The parts have been in dry storage for 40 plus years. Don't miss it because this is a true once in a life time opportunity. old-\ Club members and trusted friends and family only please welcome. This will be a club event. Talk to John G and Shawn M for details. YoDa

Hmmm, do I keep my Nerf Bars or get a couple of Bob's bumpers for my MugBug?
What to do, what to do.... 4thinking6

Nerf

Nerf
Ok one vote for bumpers ^stirpot- ^stirpot-
Why are you on your phone now being in that beautiful camping area? 4thinking6
These damn young-uns are so addicted to the electronic crap.... old-\
-
Your car looks mostly stock old-\ , I say bumpers, if it means anything, just sayin whistll=-
-
cheap bumpers that rust out in a couple of years are easy to find. Original German that may just need to be cleaned are getting harder to find.
nerf bars are for manx's. Your car would look better with original bumpers and over riders- no towel bars.
I vote real bumpers
-
My vote is; What ever it came with originally.
-
I just counted 10 complete wiper motor and linkage units from Beetles, type 3 and Ghias. Still finding more parts. old-\
