just read the samba thread and the one guy puts up a good argument.
there is no preview of what he considers "sale" prices. I always thought that Savichs prices were a bit high, like his stuff is made of gold. I wouldn't want to drive all the way out there just to find out that he only lowered his prices to reality levels.
also its the same day as Dubs in the Shrubs- first show of the season. the poster on the samba thread says he's running the sale and it's the only day he can do it.
Savich has cancer Not doing good at all They are cleaning house. He's not running the sale and they are prob not relocating
So what is happening with the good stuff. The new parts? Where are they going?

Sad news...Mr Savich passed away Sunday.
I bought my first VW stuff from him when I was in my teens. What a wonderful thing to make your living playing with VWs. RIP Mr Savich
The proceeds from everything sold go to his widow. There's lots of good stuff... They held a few motors and such to raffle of to raise money for his treatment... Now it will go to the family. Eric Bennett is handling the sale and will be there well into the evening on Sunday if we want to cruise over after the Dubs in the Shrubs show
it always sucks losing someone to cancer. I hope the best for his wife and family
That sucks, I used to yap to him way back at the Punch Buggy show at Atco
Sorry to hear his passing. I just found a $25 gift certificate for his establishment. Ramon had donated it when he worked for him.
I probably had won it at a Christmas party many years ago.
