Jack you are already booked on 63 (in your name) Tracy and i are on 61
Any of the sites in and around there are great!
You book Bass River through www.ReserveAmerica.com
The park is holding the entire South Shore loop for our event until July 31. So heres how to book the spot you want...
1- Go on to reserveamerica.com (or get the App!) and pick the site you want to book
2- Call Patty at Bass River State Forrest (609) 296-1114 and tell her you are going to Woods Tock and what site you want.
She will release it into the RA system and you can make your reservation
3 Book your site on Reserve America
(http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/images/bass_river_campground_map_low_res.jpg)
Book early there are a lot of vehicles planning on attending. This is a multi-club event with the TearJerkers vintage camper club

-

-
I reserved the usual site #120 next to Jack and Shawn..
BTW if this is the Tear Jerkers cr\y Event, shouldn't there be more the 7 Reserved sites ?

.
I've got a couple of window frames to use to mount the A/C unit and also the Canvas to mount one on the cargo carrier to the Roof Tent if needed. But doubt that the nightly heat and Humidity will be an issue as it usually drops off measurably by mid Aug. Also we'll only less then 10 miles from the coast so hopefully cooler coastal Sea Breezes will prevail..
And we'll be close to Stewards in Tuckerton for icecream
.

No, don't bring any AC for me, like Jay said; "doubt that the nightly heat and Humidity will be an issue as it usually drops off measurably by mid Aug." angle
I appreciate the thought very much +hug Flag*
We have always been very lucky, I can't remember ever have been on a club camp-out where its been to hot to sleep 11&*

Tyler, Rose, Matt and I are on site 64... hopefully I won't have to work that weekend.

Tear-Jerkers No Show?
Apparently out of the 80 some sites blocked off and saved for this Event, the only one's taken are by our club.
If true. Since it looks like we got snookered, and stranded n-o
Wondering what the schedule of events are going to be?
Maybe we should start another Topic or move this one to members only section and begin planning some events for those of us attending and the kiddies. Things like foods, maybe Tie-Dye shirts for the young'ems etc, etc..
I'm sure that Shawn has much of this under control, just trying to be proactive and prepared after what looks like the Jerkers Bailing out. It's just puzzling how or why they wouldn't have reserved any sites. Todays the cut off for the private event and the entire South Shore area will be open to the public so if anyone's on the fence about reserving a site to keep our group together do so soon before we get broken up.
-
.
OK, What's going on? This Topic has been Dead.. =dfeadhorse0
Who's attending, and what Site?
We still doing Covered Dish Meals? If so is it just dinner, Fri, and Sat, or Just Sat?
Who's bringing what Food? It'd be nice to know so we don't bring Doubles, can shop, or pre-Cook before hand..
Anyone planning anything for the Kids, Tye Die T's maybe?
Any Other Ides or suggestions would help to make this a "Planned Success" idea\
Lastly, any word yet from The Tear Jerkers?
-
I'm going and I have no idea whats on the agenda.
-
Here's whats happening. Our Counterpart at Tearjerkers has been ill and apparently hospitalized for some time. As a result his club has had nobody carrying the baton. I have reached out to him to see if there is anything we can do.
As for SJVWC's end, There is a potluck Saturday evening
Tracy and I will be bringing roast pork and saurkraut
Wear your tye die saturday!

It looks like we'll going to have nice weather, and warm. s=un
So-ooooo
How many campers and Peeps do we have attending this event...
I'm thinking approx 8 sites reserved if average of 2 \VW= per site that would put us at around 14-16 Vehicles.
So-ooooo how many Humans? and Think it's 2-4 puppies?
Asking for food and previsions.. =hungry
-
We haven't gave much thought to food yet.
I still have some things to do before we can come so we probably won't make it Friday night.
Whatever we bring will probably be very simple and last minute.
