- What sucks, download speed, upload speed, TV viewing, wireless connectivity?

Do you get the same speed on your PC that is hard wired?
Or is your PC wireless? Whats the numbers? Lets see what they are.....
That upload speed is excellent- FIOS normally has equal download and upload speeds, where Comcast has upload speeds 1/3 of their download speeds.
Is your router on the floor tucked behind some old flywheels, or is it up high like on a bookcase?

I don't know. I only know that Comcast wants me to buy the new super Modem like the Arris/ Motorola SB11 DOCSIS 3.0 to continue to get service at the new higher speeds. I want to do this in hope I can get wireless further into the garage then I'm getting now. The rumor is that Comcast wants to advertise that that have all these thousands of new hot spots. Apparently they use your modem, but not your channel. What do I know? =distroy

I have Comcast, they are good.
But if you wanna go faster. You need to make sure you have one of these...

i recommend one of these too

Also I hard line (rj45) all streaming devices (roku, boxee, smart tv) rather than streaming wirelessly
I updated all my computers (laptop & desktop) network cards to wireless 802.11ac (from 802.11n) essentially doubling download and upload speeds.
These updates will give you a great connectivtity, however the best internet in the world will not fix your computers (if you have an outdated PC) inability to crunch the numbers.
My 00010 cents
