Title: If I was retired, I would immediately install my passenger side mirror

Rainy day research - Interesting article on installation of right side Beetle mirror:
I used the Ghia external mount before. I think I'll drill away using the template and go with this method idea\

Just ordered the mirror and nut from Wolfsburg West.

These young uns are so impatient ^stirpot- haha

Did  the factory weld nuts on all the VWs inner door panel and have the mirror as a dealer installed option on '68 and up?  help$#

You should change the title of your post to Passenger side mirror that Might be installed - 68 and on devil)-
