everytime I try to use them, they wont work

You can't be banned from them.

Make sure you put a space before you enter one & see if that works.

ive started whole new paragraphs with them and they still don't work

Is your Browser Chrome? I think I came across this once and it was a setting in my browser. Can you try another browser?

Did you change anything in your profile?

 mo-on  cold-
the emojis should work in both chrome and firefox - BUT - you may have to preview a blank post first to start. (Looking for a bug fix for this...)
