Very nice format, well done! And I am honored to see Bob in there as car of the month.
Sorry have not been on the boards much, but so busy at work.
Been rebuilding Katie's jeep front end, and rear wheel seals & bearings every day after coming home from work.
There still is a horrendous grinding noise that happens after warming up, and onlyu when releasing the gas pedal. When gas pedal is depressed, no noise ??? I am thinking it is the front diff, so been busy looking how to rebuild something like that.
Jeeps are huge monsters compared to bugs... but like bugs, it is said everthing is fixable. I just have to make sure what I fix, is what was wrong. Hope it is not the transaxle... -seenoevel n-o
Once I get this gorilla off my back, be good to focus on bugs again...
Again, great newsletter

Take it to a Jeep dealer and pretend you want them to fix it have them tell you what is wrong, aand you will bring it back when you get the money. 11&* that way your not guessing whats wrong. idea\
I thought Bob was her car???

Matt, I loved my jeep, and miss it more than any other car I owned. You should check pajeeps.org good group, and http://www.quadratec.com/ has a good forum as well. not to mention a great supply of parts...

Hi Jack,
At this time, they ( Jeep ) cannot figure it out either, they want to keep if for a few days to try again... this is the 2nd garage I went to...
Yea, Bob is Katie's but she wants to keep it in good shape, so she does not want to drive it and keep it at college! Me either!
Marc, thanks for the advice, I figured I would have to go to some forums... there is a lot there. - I do like the jeeps, we have 2 of them. Great cars..
John, ..well, it does say "Newsletter for Mar. 2017" so that is what I called it. Yea, I had to check twice to make sure I was still in Feb!
I hope to get this Jeep thing figured out.. my plan is to take the front driveshaft out, and see if the noise persists....
By now I was hoping to have my new steering box in Bob by now... oh well... daughters, and all that..

sorry to hijack the thread Matt but if its a sjvwc newsletter, I haven't seen one in years, so I was just wondering,
Now back to your regularly scheduled program

Make sure it's not going to an older email! That was my issue. Also check your spam (yum) folder. I find it easier to go to the spam folder and do a search instead of digging through a million spam emails.
