http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330223480520 Says no title. How do you get a title in the state? .///
It can be done but it's a pain in the a**. There is a 12 (?) step procedure IIRC where you have to run an ad in the paper, send letters to the possible prvious owner, notorized letters from 3 witnesses that have seen you in possesion of the car, etc, etc. Check the dmv web site- you might find the info there or at a local dmv.
Like I said, it can be done but it takes 6-8 months and can be a pain in the a**.
Friend of mine did it for a motorcycle that was given to him that had no title. A lot of steps to follow & takes a couple months but he did get a new title in the end.
Look carefully at that car, lots of rust and a cheapo paint job. I wonder whats hiding under that paint. I'd have to see the car before I'd consider going through all the headaches the state would give you just to get a title. I think you could easily find a car in better shape with a title and running, possibly for not too much more money.

The price is what caught my eye. I guess it's not worth the hassle for the money saved. I'll just wait until I get some steady work(if that ever happens) and buy frank's if he still has it.
Dang. I was ready to jump on this one as I now have caught the fever. But I'm gonna hold off because dealing with the DMV is way worse than a seized engine
