Well guys,

Its been fun but last night a friend of a friend offered me some serious $$ for my 72' and he's coming back tonight with the cash. I think its also a good time to sell the Bradley GT since it needs so many repairs.   weldface

I'm thinking that with both cars gone I'll start looking for something I've wanted for a long time... A Corvette!   burnrubber

Now with that thought I've decided to quit VWs all together. I'm resigning as president of South Jersey VW effective as of today. I'm sure Frank can take over in my absence.  :icon_king:

Bob, you do realize that if you leave and do sell your toys we get 1st bid at them. I offer one VW Powered Mule, and a bunch of Corvair parts. Or if your truely considering a trade, I have a old vette that needs some TLC, and also a Porsche 930t but your going to have to throw something more in to sweeten the deal on the 930T.

Bob funny that you should ask. Because this mule has a great clutch tube, it kind of sags sometimes but strong as a mule. Still considering that trade, it also uses no gas, but at times has been called an a**. s#r

I knew It had to be a joke ! Been there done that not too many vett folk are real people . Also found the same thing with the street rod set I still have a 34 outlaw performance chevy coupe thats not finnished because of the attitudes. sjvwcrocks logolrg

I hear lots of stories about vett people. like arguments at shows as to what color car they get parked next to. Thats too bad about your 34', rods are cool for what goes into them. I'd say "screw it" and drive it anyway. Hell piss em all off and "rat' it!

That was the game plan its pro streeted I had a set of chrome reversed rims made by stockton wheel co. the backs are 15x14 with 32x18.5 Hoosier radials and fronts are 15x 5 with skinnys was going to paint it flat black. Boy when some of the billet crowd got wind of what I was up to did they ever give me a raft of sh@#%&*! Oh well If I dont sell it Ill get around to finnishing I have had it since about 1995 so its not eating anything.

I also use to be into the Lead Sleds street rods, and trust me I know what you mean about attitudes. Funny thing is now that I’m playing with V-Dubs again and have blown the doors off of a few lead sleds I have a few guys that actually wants to kick my  kickButt.. Grow the F*%k up already, these guys were the same bullies that we all had to deal with in H.S. Most of them are either A-Holes or guys with bucks that bought there cars and in the end really have nothing more then a “Belly Button Car” because they all look alike with their store bought chrome from Pep-Boys, etc. Bottom line, is now with gas prices headed to everyday new highs the bugs will be crusing, while there drooling for gas to run those big blocks, quad carbs, blowers etc.  T1 

Bob.. Oh-ooo By the way glade your still here. Besides that Jack said that he wasn't going to refund you your clubs membership even if you did quit he said that he needed the extra bucks to buy more bondo and a pack of smokes  stoned# or something like that?
