found this interactive while looking for wheels to add to my dream list.

Slightly off topic but if you are looking for some wheels for the 72 I have a nice set of Rivieras that were gonna go on her that I will let go if you are interested.

No tires on em

Jim, Wil they fit the clubs bus,  the tire size  is 205/70R14 (and no freebies)

Doesnt the bus have a different bolt pattern from the bug?

If they fit we can work it out, just dunno if they will.

How's the bus coming?  Havent heard updates recently, but Ive kinda been under a rock hiding with work and all :)

Jim, not looking for wheels right now but will keep the rivieras in mind. I will probably keep her stock for a while. Are you looking for turn signal/parking light housings for one of your projects? I have 2 that come in the parts box with the beetle.

No need but thanks for the offer.  You've got 2 bugs in the family now, put them on a shelf and learn to hoard parts like the rest of us :)  A good parts stash always comes in handy.

Jim they weren't for a bug. They were for another type of car... maybe the Smart?!!!

lol...no major mods for the Smart, aside from paint.
Cool thing about Smarts is all the body panels are easily removable and changeable.  You can get a full set in a different color for under $1000.

Im going to get a set of Yellow if I can since it is being discontinued for 09 so it will be kinda rare and I like it.  Then once those are on the car Im repainting the silver panels in a more interesting color...perhaps with flames....still up in the air.  Gotta track down some yellow panels and some money to pay for them first though.

What dad ment I guess, was that he found sockets in the Beetle that wern't for the Beetle. Didn't know if they were yours, or if they were in there when you bought them.

Ahh, I get it now.  Nope dunno what they were for.  Musta been left there from the previous owner.
