Title: An open apology to all SJVWC members
Post by: 6T5 square on June 02, 2008, 08:55:38 PM
I'd like to take this oppotunity to appologize to all members that went to this evenings club meeting. Upon my arrival at home this evening at 6:30, my wife was happy to see that I was home in time to attend my daughters excellence in education award ceremony at 7 pm. ??
I found myself doing the right thing and doing the family thing first.
I appologize for not having the calendar for the members and to Bob because he probably had to step up and fill in for me with virtually no information. My appologies to Frank, because we still haven't finished the body shop tech session that was started months ago.
My appologies to the other board members for them having to try and figure out where the heck I was.
And also to Bugaru! I told him I was going to bring in my parts tonight for him to look at.
I will be at the picnic this week end ( my parts have arrived so I will put my motor back together on Wed.) feel free to throw things at me if you wish. Just don't hit the car.

Thank you

You were missed John! Bob did a great job covering what he knew of upcoming shows with the help of Herbie Dan for the dates.
See you at the picnic.  :) I'll bring the flyers for ya.

John,

OK I wanted to murder you BUT family will always come first so I can understand your situation. Tonight we also didn't have Jack so Joe and I did our best and somehow it all came together. I have to thank our terrific membership, its never a stretch to get up and talk with the guys, they make my job easy. Sure I didn't have the show schedule in front of me but one shout over to Danny and he knew all the dates for stuff I was missing. Family will always come first since they are always the most important element and even though we have a "Car Club Family" I think the members can understand how sometimes these events are important milestones and should never be ignored or missed.

Many congrats to your daughter! she is on her way to bigger and better things and also many of the same to you and your wife since theres enough stuff out there today that could turn a kid around you both are obviously doing a great job of not letting that happen!

Just don't forget those schedules Saturday! or Else!!!  f+t
