I'm sure by now everybody is aware of the raffle we are running for "Claytons Hope".
Just in case you haven't been to a meeting in a while I want to bring everybody up to speed.
Clayton Hope is a foundation set up for Ed McGraths ( Boss Bug racing ) grandson Calyton. Sadly enough this little guy was stricken with a form of childhood epilepsy which has left him with seizures. His life hasn't been one of a normal child growing up but as a little guy whos had to endure time in hospitals, pain and worse. You can only imagine how this has effected his Parents, Grandparents and loved ones. If you want to read more about this little guy then click on this link:

Now about that raffle..
We at SJVWC believe a clubs first duty is to take care of its members. A few months ago at our managers meeting the board of directors ( my self, Joe T, Jack "moneybags" Kessel, John "weezy" Gallagher, and VP Frank Perez ) discussed ways to help the Claytons Hope org. It was Franks idea to hold a raffle and since we are surrounded with other "Motorheads" the simple answer was to make the prize something interesting to that group! The Garmin NUVI 660 GPS is a "state of the arts" unit that anybody can use and has all the "bells and whistles". We thought long and hard to try to come up with a prize that had value and this unit fit the bill!
Now I'm writing today just to remind everyone who has unsold tickets that the deadline for the drawing is getting near. We will be picking the prize winner on August 21st. at the Collingswood Cruise Night, a fitting place to end the raffle! Just remember that we will need any ticket stubbs and payment before then and also club members are not elligible for the prize since it wouldn't be fair to others outside the club. If you just found out about this and would like to sell some tickets just send me a PM with your mailing address ( private message ) on this site and I'll try to get tickets to you ASAP. The tickets are just $2.00 each and since the prize is a really good one they almost sell themselves.

2nd prize - $20.00 gift certificate to Harbor Freight - enough to replace all your tools !
3rd prize - $10.00 gift certificate to Harbor Freight - enough to replace 1/2 your tools !
Plus I will do a custom T-shirt for all 3 top sellers with anything you would like on it ( assuming its VW related, and clean, no you can't put "Chevys Suck" ! )
