:)
actually...I searched the net and found your site because I'm trying to draw somebody in NJs single or double cab. You'd be surprised at how hard it is to give away a drawing.
here's my post from the Vortex (which has been skunked I might add)
*********************************************************
I'm an auto artist and I landed a gig doing the shirts for the Dubs on the Boards show.
I was goiing to draw my friends Doublecab on it but then I thought, hey...why not find a New Jersey double or single cab and draw it for the shirt.
It's a complete freebie for whomever gets picked and I get to do somethin cool for someone I don't know.
This is a toon design so it will be exaggerated but still fun.
I'm not asking for anything other than someone who wants their bus drawn and a few hi res pics for reference.
here's my gallery so you can see some of my stuff

this is no joke...I wrote another New Jersey VW club but I got skunked, so...anyway I'm ramblin
whatta ya think?
If the SJVC skunks me then I guess it means no.
I posted a gallery link but in case noone clicks it

p.s. I'm an active member of the Dry Heat Panzers out here in Arizona here's some stuff about us http://www.dhpvw.com
Hey Lemorris,
Damn, I am all about that squareback! (I'm the only sqaure in the club- couple of fastys but there pignoses :icon_geek:) we don't have anybody with an Early split or double/single cabs. About 5 late model buses but thats about it. Surprised about CJVW- they have a couple of split window buses but I guess they don't answer the call often enough.
Have you thought of a shirt with mixed models on it?Type1,T2,T3. Crap we even have a thing or two in the club.
Jack will jump in on this sooner or later- he designed the web site for dubs on the boards- in fact the guys that are putting on the show were at our club meeting last month to pitch the show.
Drop us a line when you have a decision as to what you want to do. There's alot of us that would like to "pose"
Lemorris,
Great art!
Like John said, we have mostly bay window busses and campers. I have a one off Bradley GT kit car so if you need something with a "weirdness" factor let me know. I'm sure others will chime in on this post. Strange other clubs weren't interested, so I hope you can can find some interesting cars here.
good luck!
We do have a double cab in the club and it is very nice one, Edward's. I'll look up his e-mail and ask him to get in touch if he wants to do it, I think he will.
FANTASTIC work, I love it.

In any case if Edward is interested have him post up or email me at dryheatpanzer@gmail.com
I usually don't do work from the boards as I'm not cheap and I don't like beating up net folk. Normally a vendor like the current one will come along and give me a shot at a job and if they allow me to pick any of the vehicles I scour the net and try to find someone's car to draw. It works out pretty good that way.
I could talk to your club folk at some point if you're interested but I really wasn't fishin for work here, just seein if I could do a cool thing.
It would be great to have one of your members represented on the shirt and present at the show. I don't get a lot of East Coast work so this is a treat for me as well.
Thanks again for responding...I'm glad this may work out.

oh..nice wheels Aaron. If I get a call for it, I will consider you...that's no lie. Thanks for the interest.
oh 2:
the other club may have thought it was joke or spam or something. I'm ok with them
oh 3.
I draw each vehicle individually so even though you don't see everything in the design, the rendering will be of the complete bus.
Nice sketch, Len...Except...the watercooled models are supposed to be in the BACKGROUND in front of the roller coaster ;D ;D ;D
I received some pictures from Edward.
Thank you for your help in making this happen.
I will pot up progress as I get into the design.
Thanks again
-Lemorris
Your welcome and if you ever want to do a "Most Beautifull Bus" (camper) let me know.
