I'm selling my '71 Volkswagen Westfalia as a parts car. It was going to be my project Bus, but I don't have the time or money to fix it up. The interior is in surprisingly great shape. Canvas top is fairly new and both it and the screen have no holes and is worth about $300 alone. It has the Adult cot for the roof and the child bunk for cab, as well as the sink/fridge, fold-down table, and fold-down bed. The engine is in great shape and has new seals on the rear main (crack seal) and oil cooler. The underbody is very rusty.

			-
				Hey Bud,
I'm asking $500 for it.

			-
				Does it have an engine?

			-
Yes the engine is in good working order and has new oil cooler and rear main seals.

			-
I'll take the bus.  Does it drive?  Can you get it to Pitman?

			-
Skymath yo give me your email address?

			-
Everything on the front end has been disconnected:  Clutch cable, e-brake cable, accelerator cable, steering box.  So no it's not driveable.  It has to be towed.

			-
In that case I'll give you $200 for it  WA#

my dad has a pickup with a hitch.  maybe he has a tow-bar or can figure something out.  anyone have a trailer?
also, does the engine have the thermostat and flaps?

			-
Yep, the engine is complete.  It would be best towed on a trailer as opposed to a dolly, I don't know if the shock towers would hold up on a dolly.

			-
well, I'll take it.  I just need to find someone with a trailer.  My dad might know somebody.

jrival, when can I come by to seal the deal?
also, would it be possible for me to grab a couple parts in advance of actually towing it to my place?  (I have to go for re-inspection and would like to grab the front left blinker and right-side mirror--you have both?)
let me know.  you can email me at maniacalmath -atsign- yahoo -dot- com
or just call me 609-680-8043 (cell phone)
