If your in the lower Southern NJ area, there are several boat builders throughout the pinelands. Check with some of them, but you may pay more then buying direct due to the boat yards marking their products up? You may be able to get a good deal at some of the boat yards due to the end of the Season, and a bad boating season, perhaps they may even sell you what you need as many of them buy this stuff in 55 gal drums. Many are on the verg of closing, as many before them have already gone out of business. But you know what they say about boats, if a screew cost you 1o cents at a hardware store it woill cost you $10.00 at a boat store. Simply because it has the word boat in the description. Thus why I sold my 34' offshore sportfishing money pit.

Here are some links for online supplies, you can call around etc in search for better prices?

thanks that first link is great alittle expensive but they seem to have everything i could ever need. including giving me a nice idea of a fiberglassing work bench that i may have to build my own next time im bored.

if anyone else is looking i also found this company  http://www.mertons.com/ they seem to have good prices and the specific matte i wanted.

i live in williamstown. its not really that hard and i wouldn't recommend it over metal if you can weld or braze, i just mess around a lot with "kit cars" made of fiberglass so its the only way to fix them. what are you looking to do?

Greg might be trying to fix "the hole"- He has a golf ball size hole just to the left of his rear window. Needs to be welded. Glass wont do it.

Doesnt cost that much if you catch me in a good mood and ask nice.

I gotta put a motor in a bug soon, if you wanna come lend a hand we can look at the hole while you are here.

I'll keep ya posted when the car gets here.

The welding on your car should take about an hour or 2 to fab up a good piece and weld it in.
