To all of you that read this forum and haven't joined the club, or those of you who have left for one reason or another. No matter how much we kid each other, We are still a Brother hood / Sister hood of VW lovers. A group of people that don't care if you own a rust bucket or a VW worth thousands of dollars.
I for one have learned that if you need help, then all the joking, kidding stops and "our" members are there to help you whenever you need them.
With that said, come out to one of our meetings and you will see for yourself that we all are VW lovers and I'm sure you will meet the nicest "bunch" of VW people in New Jersey.

Hey i was thinking the other day- how soon is it till Jake starts driving?
I wasn't looking for any kind of praise when I wrote that, it came straight from my heart.
John, it will be 7 more years before Jake will be able to drive. I will buy him a lifetime membership and myself a one year membership.
And one more thing- Thanks to all of those who are standing by us, in this rough time.

I have only been a member for a short time. This morning I decided to post what an amazing place this Message Board is and that I have never met a NICER group of people than the ones in this club, and on this message board.
Take a good look at the posts on this board. Where have you ever seen a message board with NO flames (Rude or derogatory posts).
Nowhere... It's not that they're moderated off the board...They don't happen. And like Bud said... Ask for help and you get a line of volunteers.
BTW the ribbing on this board is allways good natured, always. (I know. I have supervision. I see these things .## )
Buying another VW after 22 years was something I was planned to do alone. My wife thinks I'm nuts as does my youngest daughter.
(My step daughter wants one! BO** but anyway...)

No Flames. were you referring to Jack? ok he is a little stange sometimes. But we love our VDub Bus Driving bus)) Brother just the same.

Rich : That was a general statement about a "rust bucket. I'm no one to talk after spending all of $660.22 for a 1971 Calif. bus with a white over black rattle can paint job with flames , that at one time was painted (the best I can figure out ) a nice blue and white. What did he say $660.22 shocked, I forgot to mention the engine
was SHOT and so were the brakes, the windshield is cracked, all of the door and window seals are dry rotted. The steering wheel is shot also but at least I have a new one to replace it. Now after over a year it is running, shifting, stopping, has working lights and wipers. But it is still an empty shell and I have a lot of plans for it. As Joan and my family have been telling me, thinking that way WILL keep me
