Title: DRIVE IN MOVIE
Post by: lovebus (jack) on October 04, 2008, 10:06:42 pm
Had a good time at the movie even tho it was a little on the chilly side but we had a nice turnout.  :icon_thumleft:

Myself and my wife, Jim & wife, Marc & friend, Raymond, George, Joe T & Martin and friends. I think I'm forgeting someone, sorry.

I thought Shawn was pulling in with his Baha but it was George. I couldn't make out the color at first and he has the oil cooler on the roof also.

The Movie was just OK and wish we had watched the other one. If you didn't make it you missed a good time.

Looks like the Bajas were well represented. Sorry I couldn't be there. I spent all day "protecting little kids fingers from my hot exhaust"  :police: and making it look good

Had a nice evening at the movies with the club. A little chilly but I gave the heat its first real test on the way home.

Man was it ever HOT in that car.  BO** BO** BO** :icon_biggrin:

Great time at the Drive-in. I thought the first movie (Ghost Town) was funny and heart-warming. The second movie (Eagle Eye) was a cliff hanging-thriller. Even though I was a little cold the excitment kept my heart beating. I would like to see them both again with my family when they come out on DVD. Oh yeah the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich was excellent.

A wet mist covered everything (condensation) while at the Drive-In. The drive home to Turnersville in the AM hours tested by windhield wipers and the heater. The heater had me sweating by the time I had gone some 4 miles.  The wipers were no-good, (1960's rubber blades.) However after the first mile the wetness just blew off and dried everything. and then it was an E-Z but noisy cruise home.

For the first time with this new engine the Oil Temperture never went above 175 F.  $61$

John, I was very proud of Joe when I saw him pulling in with Blue Eyes and not the Honda.
