try being "self employed" all that means is you get to write out checks to everybody else and if you are lucky you might get one if anything is left. Lately I haven't been lucky! kickButt
tell them bob, i have not had a payday in 10 years.
Maybe I'll stay at Blockbuster a little longer. ;D

I'm with ya frank, how about Holiday & vacation pay, Sick days and unemployment if you get laid off :icon_cheesygrin: . I love it when people say "Nice to be your own boss" little do they know I have more bosses than anybody!
I always knew being your own boss is 10x the amount of work. At least your not controlled by others who decide your fate kickButt or not...........today..............but maybe tomorrow..... kickButt

when you are "on your own" the decision makers are much bigger, the economy, government, competition and technology. There are others and its a long list. After 21 years I can tell you its no fun. There are bright spots like some of the loyal customers who become friends after so many years and the feeling of accomplishment when things go right but lately its been "Battling windmills".
Hope you don't get laid off, my wife has been out since October and its tough out there.
THanks Bob, and as I said, you work at least 10x as hard being your own boss, and holding up your business -
I'm sure it's very tough!
