Got this from Bud.
Please take 10 min. of your time to to send out a few emails the the committee heads and the sponsors of the bill. Also mention Bill #Bill S2074 It's about time NJ had a bill like this so you don't have to have a car over 50 yrs old to build as a rod or custom.
Sema Style Legislation in New Jersey
Establishes a motor vehicle registration for STREET RODS and CUSTOM MOTOR VEHICLES
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Full Bill here; Street Rods & Customshttp://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2008/Bills/S2500/2074_I1.PDF (http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2008/Bills/S2500/2074_I1.PDF)
The Sema Style Legislation was submitted to the New Jersey Assembly and Senate in June of 2008. It has been sitting in committee since, with NO ACTION.
We desperately need anyone who is a car guy or gal to e-mail the chairs of these committees and urge that these bills be posted for a committee vote as soon as possible.
Please take the time to e-mail and call these chairmen.

Great idea!
We always complain abut the laws, well here's your chance to change them and for the better. This is a step to get kit cars and Dune buggy legal without the hassle.
If you can post a comment on this web site you can take the time to e-mail the lawmakers. Write it on Word and cut and paste to each lawmaker ?EZ!
And wouldn?t it be nice to see blue dots again. Legally- (love
Actually they never were legal in NJ.
