Title: Steve G - Matt - John G and any other "Slow lane residents" this is for you!!
Post by: njgt-1 on February 03, 2009, 05:11:02 PM
Guys,

I know some of you love those old and slow 36hp Vdubs but there is hope! Want to throw some new life in that lawnmower?? tired of being passed by senior citizens on
bicycles?? Never enough lane when trying to merge into traffic??

heres the answer!   http://www.burlyb.com/ (http://www.burlyb.com/)

Seriously you wouldn't think "36hp VW" and "World Land Speed Record" would be in the same sentence but heres a chance to really exercise those 36 rompin & stompin ponies!

I've got to thank club member Ed Mcgrath for passing this one along! Enjoy!

( and just one more thing secretly I think those 36hp cars are really cool, less is more! )

I'm up for the race, I tuned my black bug, and it finally beat my 14hp lawn tractor going down the street!

Actually I never would race my black bug, never want to push it "speed-wise" unless I had too.

Fun to read though.

Steveo, Bob didnt get out of that yet.....we know where he lives!  :icon_cheesygrin:  kickButt
