Shawn was nice enough to give me a stereo speaker box for weezer complete with speakers and all. The question I have is simple. Is there a spray paint available for the paper cone in the speaker itself? Of course I'm restoring and cleaning up the box and the only thing I'm not happy with is the way the paper in the speaker looks (dirty, looks like somebody spilled something on them)
Shawn, you might want it back when I'm done. :icon_thumleft:
Thanks again
Don't paint them!!! That is what Vibrates and gives you your sound and tone. Put a cloth over them if they look bad.
OR JUST BUY NEW ONES YOU CHEAP MUSTARD!
Krylon#161635 speaker paint. Works everytime!

You call that an answer?
Sorry... QUOTE is busted... I was laughing at Pat sending you on a snipe hunt... No such thing as Krylon speaker paint!
Once again though, Jack comes up with the answer. Boy, he's a wise man! :icon_thumleft:
And as for that Pat character- everybody likes a little a** but nobody likes a wiseass! :icon_twisted:

They make aftermarket speaker covers, i was going to get a set because the set that came with my pioneers were to ricey for me. Instead I used my old kenwood speaker covers. They either screw on or snap into the speaker housing. I dont like seeing the speaker cones at all, and dont i want people to know that my rear speakers cost a little less than my 250 dollar radio. ;D
