About 100 years ago I was a student at Burlington County College, I had the 65 splittie bus as my daily driver and Yes I was a regular at Bachmans parts counter. Good to see a part of So Jersey VW history still around!

I think I may need glasses.  I thought, what the h*ll does this have to do with dual carbs.  Aren't those things called Double Cabs.....so it's not just my fault.  How many doors does it have?  2 or 4?

I like it.  I know you aren't going to repaint it......right?

Ya Know what? Your Right, and it is my fault,  because it's not really a 2 door or 4 door.. It's a Factory Built 3 Door.. Yep two front doors and only one rear side door. So maybe I should have taged it as a 3 door Carb / Cab.. By the way don't you have a house or something to check out..  LAUGH@

Bite your tounge Taxiboi! That there is the most difficult restoration of all...Fix the rust without messing up the patina (paint).
