Hi
S@Sm please.
1. Why are the pictures I uploaded not displaying?
2. Why are the captions displaying twice?
When I change the size, I see them. Are they too big?
Regards
CBJ
Hmmmmmmmm, don't know but I'm sure some of the IT wannabes,(I mean it in jest guys don't get your panties twisted up), will be on here later to help you out.
By the by I understand you have a new singing sensation across the pond, Susan Boyle. @@@ I wish she could come over here and give vocal lessons to many of the female singers that shout, mumble, enunciate poorly, and worst of all couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. But even if they spent all of their $$$ on lessons I feel that they would not sing any better. I won't mention any of their names.
OHHHHHHHHH crap I'm =oops= 99off :sorry_2: :icon_cheesygrin: :icon_cheesygrin: :icon_cheesygrin:
I probably can't explain it as eloquntley as some others but here goes.
If you have a file in the gallery here, log in to your file. Choose the picture you wish to load in. Open it up to full size. Move the cursour till it's on the picture and right click it. Go down and click properties. A seperate box will come on. Highlight the URL address (it's long so make sure you have it all). Right click the highlighted address. Click copy. Close that box.
Open a thread that you want to add the picture to. After typing in your reply, I go down to the next line
like this, and then right click. Then hit paste. The address that you copied should show up. To get the image to show in the post, there is a tool bar on the reply page right below where it says "font face". The third button in shows a little picture (this is the insert image button) Highlight the address and hit the insert image button. You will see two boxes on each side of the address that look like this [img] If so, Bobs your uncle.
I know Jack has a tutorial here somewhere but I'm too lazy to find it
Cheers
John, you bake a nice set of instructions...it was perfect,almost. You left out a slash.
In your post CBJ, you can click on the little icon that says "insert image" and it will put {img}{/img} in your reply box.
(NOTE:I changed [ to { for this demo) paste the properties from your image between the two.
example (remember: { should be[ )
{img}ht-p:\\bla\bla\curlysoldcar.jpg{/img}
Hey I just had deja vu..... we did this before The youtube button is gone now (you just post the url) but the image button shows

@7@ He didn't ask how to post one in a forum post.
I don't know what happened to the thumbnails CBJ, but I am checking into it. You should make photos no larger then 800x800. to upload them. You have to click on the broken window looking things to see your pix's, that should be a thumbnail.
I don't know when I'll get around to fixing the thumbnails, I'm brain dead from working on this chit.

OooOooOoooOooo that's a really nice bug CBJ!!! I don't know how I feel about the bug/rock shield though. Do you take that off for shows?
<6T5 square, Bahaha>
Thanks for the instructions with regard to posting within the message. That was to be my next challenge.
<Jack>
I'll work on the pictures by cutting them down to size then upload them again. Don't toil for now :icon_thumright:
<Beetleboi>
I see your point on the bug shield. But protection of the front is important too. It's discrete, from the period and should delay the time when the front needs repainting.
This week it's taken me on my 400mile (round trip) weekly commute. It's first real journey this year...it ran as sweet as a nut.
"Do you take that off for shows?"... I'ts never been showed.
Now, back to those pictures c23

Nice ride CBJ, as for the bug shield s#r it's got me thinking, I really like it. Is the shield plexiglass? Nice location of your license plate too.
Hello bugs2much
Yes it's plexiglass, slightly smoked in bronze. I have a brand new one that I intend to fit to my next project if I ever get it started.
I don't think they are available any more. I can draw a template and measure the brackets for you sometime if you like?

CBJ
Thanks, I'll will have to make one which will be different than yours to fit around or between the fog lights. Will let you know if I need them template.
Nice ride :icon_thumright: I think the bug shield is $61$, never seen one like it, very clever idea
yea, that is a nice shield, that front end gets brutalized as a daily driver, .....I know it!
