As many may know I do much of my own conversion work and have done a few's "that's more then a few" I1t . But when I grow up I want to be able to do this type work, because either I'm cheap or there's something here that dosn't meet the eye. That or this guys is nuts, or I'm under estimating my skill set. s#r

Nice but $40,000 :rolleyes: :icon_puke_l: I think that he must have paid a lot of bread to the people he farmed out the work to & thinks he should get that back. I watch the Mecum Auto Auctions on a regular basis and unless it's a rare muscle car you are lucky to get 1/2 your investment back.

sweet spaghetti monster, we are talking about putting a VW running gear with subie motor under the Wartburg on a $500 budget....I wanna know what the rest of his price goes to.
