I was planning on getting this and running it on a small tank, but if it is running off the intake manifold. For lack of better words to use, won't intake be sucking and not blowing. So that means the air tank wont work correct?

The electric ones don't sound as good, and you dont have full control over the length of the whsitle.

So buy it. Get the 10.00 vacuum pump from harbor freight & use your air tank backwards

Google Wolf Whistle. They sell for about $20.00. I had one about 35 years ago. If I remember right, it worked fine on a V8.
