Title: New Tires & Gas Milage
Post by: scarecrow on October 09, 2009, 02:33:13 pm
Put my Hankook 6 ply load range D RA08's on today. Where I live the roads are two lane twisties with  lots of hills and plenty of gusty winds today. OK I admit the difference was amazing @7@  :surrender: Mark me down as a converted believer
While I was out I also filled up with gas. Got 15.10 MPG From what I read on Samba this is real world milage & right on the money :icon_cheesygrin:

From what I read the 1600's get about the milage you discribe. But the 2 liter FI's actualy get less...Manual says 40 rear 30 front. I'm running 41 rear & 32 front. The tires themselves can be pumped up to 65 if you wanted to.

Remember, the Manual gives the pressure for the smoothest ride, for best driveability and handling you should run the fronts at least 38#
