What you thought it was a sqBk ? I would take the El Camino off the list too, it's only my list of cars I would like to own.
i was just about to post this how is a el camino # 1 and a thing #5. two of my fav cars. there are so many other cars that should be on this list and these are not one of them.

Ugly sure but well made, and I remember reading somewhere that they are somewhat in demand in the used car market. Hell you could sleep in one! there ya go Greg a modern camper!

Gotta agree the Elcamino was a really sharp looking vehicle, especially the early ones up to 70 - 71. After that they got kind of "dumpy" looking. the biggest objection I've heard was that its "not a truck but also not a car". Still one cool ride!
To anybody but a dub fan the Thing is ugly but we really know how cool they are! Anybody else wouldn't get it
So what I get from that list (saw it earlier today) is that anything unique or different is ugly and the author of the piece has little to know understanding of either functional or aesthetic design when it comes to automobiles (no grille on the Thing? WTF?)
Hey My thing is WAY uglier than an el camino! So ugly its Beautiful, kinda like an ugly kid @7@ Its Breathtaking 777

He didn't show any (love for the wartburg either.. I thought the Citroen was cool and wouldn't mind having a Lightburn Zeta with a "jacked up" 350 !
I don't have a problem with this list, as long as people keep thinking the Thing is ugly maybe there will be one left for me someday. :icon_thumright:
Also disagree with the el camino, I always thought they were cool and if you dropped a larger engine in one lookout! burnrubber
I had a 73 El Camino SS 454. Miss that one. Also had a 72 ElCamino & a 72 GMC Sprint (El Camino supreme).
If they still made them, I'd have one now. The only reason I went to S-10's is they stopped making them.
Hope the Amorok makes it before my xTreme needs replacing
