Where did you take the VW pics?

The pics came from Synsheim Museum. I believe two hours south of Frankfurt. It is a technical museum that tkes all day to go through. We saw about 80% of it.

Went to what I thought was a restoration shop, turns out to be a part of a network of restoration friends with connections. Herr Roland Kaiser was so kind to let me see his personnel stock and what he was working on now. The double cab is not for sale, but the pan goes to a 67 with a 69 title and he is putting in a 2000 motor in it all color matching. the body is finished and was on it,s way back from the welder. We exchanged info and I gave him one of the groups cards, and he may contact us for some hard to find parts.
More pics when I get back.
Bis Donnerstag,
Tsch?ss

Very cool stuff, Dave!

I might try to get over to that tech museum while I am over there. If not Dec, January (2nd trip).

I'm trying to locate the 3rd door seal for my '71 double cab...Just in case you happen to stumble across one  s#r
