I LOVE the Holidays

So do I, but.. we had 22lbs of Turkey and only 6 people. After I made up the doggie bags I've still got enough to eat turkey until easter!

I think for Christmas its going to be a ham ! I'll be sick of Turkey by then.

Na Jim,

they went thru it quick. I do the turkeys in my house, have been for around the last 25 years or so just a family tradition I started. I stuff em and carve them the day before and usually by now not much left. I've got some white meat for lunch sandwiches next week and some of my "World Famous " ( at least in my own mind! ) apple, cranberry, sunflower seed stuffing, little home made cranberry sauce and some whole wheat bread......heaven!

Gee !!!  My first smoker was a Coldspot, that used to have the compressor
on top of the frig., till we made it into a smoker.  No plastic in that frig
like there is today.  Too bad the kids today don't know how well made
the frig's of yesterday were made.  They made great smokers.
