iPhones are great, but I'd be looking at 200 to cancel my current plan with T-Mobile 40 for a used iPhone 30 for data plan 20 for unlimiting texting another 20 for you regular talk plan.
PS Jack, if you get an iTouch you can have all the features of the iPhone as long as you can pick up FREE wifi signal. You can download the aps at home, some of them probably don't need internet to use.
That's probably the route I would go...

Mark... That's not a crackberry, thats a Net Phone! You newbies LAUGH@
Jack, Beets right. If you get an iPod Touch you can do all the same stuff on it as long as there is a WiFi connection. There is FREE WiFi at Flanders and I am upgrading my cellular modem to the new 4g MiFi. Its a portable WiFi hotspot which allows anyone to hook up to it and get on the internet, which means we will have WiFi at any event that I attend. BO** Can you say "Live Streaming Video from any show or cruise we do!"

What's the differnce ???

No difference... WA# All just devices to take over your mind c23

I remember the days when I had dozens of phone numbers memorized, now I think i know 2 or 3...

If you have Tbag Mobile, you can get the G1 Google phone. It isn't an iPhone, but it is pretty good. I've had one for the past year. You can do just about anything that you need to or would realistically want to do with a phone.

The iPhone does have a huge problem... ATT sucks, 3 out of 4 calls drop, my 3G is really slow, I can not wait for other companies to start offerin the iPhone, that way either I can leave ATT or there will be a mass exodus from ATT and my service will improve...

If you're looking for apps like Tyler's you won't get as many and they won't be as easy as Tyler's iPhone. Blackberry is a specific phone, a Blackberry is a net phone. Basically it's a phone that you can browse the web on. An iPhone is a mini computer with endless possibilities.

I have ATT and its the only carrier that I get service anyplace I have been and It works from my cellar.... but like anything some have good luck some dont. I was looking a I Touch today and its about $195 and If I got one my Rat would have even less of a chance of getting done. {-; I think Ill get by without one. I just Marvell at what the I Phone does and how easy and intuitive it is.

I have a 3Gs and from the way it acts I am pretty sure it is ATT not my phone... But kudos if you dont have issues... :icon_cheers:

Maybe Santa will bring it to you this year Jack!

Im with Jack. In this area ATT has been by far the most reliable service I can find.
I have a crackberry from work and an iPhone for personal use. I prefer the iPhone but I started with it first so Im more used to it I guess. The crackberry collects dust since work never calls anyway.

iPod Touch is different from the iPhone, kinda, same features but no cellular, need to be in a wifi area for the connectivity to work. If you just wanted a Touch and not an iPhone I could probably hook you up for some VWish help ;) (like how to make a IRS transaxle hold 150-200 hp reliably)

believe it or not a stock trans will handle it.

Good to know, we're taking a spare or two just in case, it is a 24 hour race after all :)
