Just a reminder like John said register NOW, you can't register day of, you have to use Pay Pal on their site http://www.dubsontheboards.com/ and if you waite to long you may be out of luck.
This is a great show, you don't want to miss it!
Because so many members go down from so many places it's best we meet up in N. Wildwood like we did last year, more on that as it gets closer.
-
I'll be pre-registering in a few weeks! Can't miss this show... It's all about Location, Location, Location!

Hey everyone sorry I didn't make the meeting tonight. I am working on a special club/group registration. I'll post up more information once we have the link finished. Also keep a eye on your email. Hope to see everybody in September. Remember don't wait.

OK Folks...What's up? Spoke with Mark & he said SJVWC registration is WAY DOWN for this year?
We took the Club trophy last year!
Wildwood requires Mark to submit the registrants in advance, therefore if you're not registered, you cant get on the boards!
SUNDAY is the last day of the extension to register. This is a great show.
To register go to www.dubsontheboards.com
If you're having trouble registering, or have special circumstances PM or email me & I'll be glad to help

Come on ladies and gents! I attended as a spectator two years ago. I couldn't go last year due to a previous commitment. That will never happen again, if I have anything to say about it! I am really pumped for this show this year!
Vdubs for ever,
Bob "Herbie"

Long story short... Blue Meanie sidelined... Tried to bring the Syncro instead and it has a collapsed lifter...
So I'm in Wildwood with no dub for Dubs on the Boards. I'm registered and paid so if somebody want's my spot just let me know. I'll still be at McDonalds for breakfast & hang out for the show but, no car this year.
-
There is a oil additive that worked wonders at freeing up lifters but I can?t think of the name.
Maybe Jay has an extra one laying around, arn't the easy to change?
-
Weather for tomorrow LINK (http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=08260&hourly=1&yday=254&weekday=Sunday)
looks like I'll be taking LoveBus.
-
For stuck lifters and general cleaning before a tare down/rebuild I always used automatic trans fluid or even better yet, Marvel Mystery Oil if they still make it!
Good luck,
Bob

Yup, thats what I was thinking of, MMO
-
and yes, they still make it
-
No, thats not what I was thinking off, sorry. I'll think of it sooner or later.
You may want to try and just put in some clean 10/30 oil and see if that helps.
-
Jay did the SeaFoam treatment... That cleaned it out...
I'll change the oil & add my favorite... ProLong. They were a sponsor when we ran the 'Cup car & then on the Modified. The latter blew a radiator hose with two laps to go. We did 2 laps with a temp of 500 degrees and post race tear-down revealed no damage

Good stuff
