Jeff asked me if the members of the Dub Pushoff would want to go to their Club Meeting on Mon. the 18th of this month to except our Trophy.
He also said that he would come dow again to award the trophy, I thought it would be differant to attend their meeting and meet more of their members.
I will go and we could carpool for the trip, who else would want to go? If we get enough we will drive up.
Or should he come here?
-
I'll go with you Jack! I think we should get as many pushers as possible & and any other club member interested. Ramone - it was your car... can you make it? Officers?
I think its would be good if we went up there since he came down last time. Plus it will be interesting to see their meeting.
I promise no obnoxious "championship celebration" (at least not too much!) ;o)

It would be nice if we had about 6-8 members to go as it is a big deal for the club. Any BOD;s to go? Anyone, anyone?

I'm in. I'll take the wife's car so I have room for 3 more.
I'll roll out of Atco at 5:30. Pass the Shamong Diner 15 minutes later. Then Red Lion, Vincentown and The truckstop at Bordentown.
If you want to join in at any point on the route, let me know.
If you remember when we go to Flanders we come into a circle in Somerville (206 & 202 & 22) it's about 5 minutes from there.

Greg - you and Matt should be there... after all you were pushers. I'll even bring the scarves for everyone to wear again ;o)

What a wonderful evening.
Michele, Joe T, Jack & Myself went to the Chimney Rock Inn in Boundbrook NJ
to recieve the prestigious Flanders Trophy.
We were warmly welcomed by President Jeff and the entire Central Jersey VW Society.
We had a great time AND I enjoyed traditional NY thin-crust pizza topped
with Chorizo! I love Chorizo... it's a spanish sausage. Never had it on pizza before... it was amazing (Eat your heart out Perdcas!)

Man you think that's fun you should of hung with me I pop rivited ~200 labels onto our new ER bins and entered about 300 new inventory items. Then when my releif came around nine I realized I forgot to eat lol. Nevermind sounds like you guys had more fun. I would of loved to of gone but probably for the best just one touch from that trophy and my inner champion comes out and let's everyone know who he is. I think we will all be able to sleep better now knowing it's back home in south jersey where it belongs.

Cool Win for the Jerzeeey-Maken-Dub-Sled-Team..
Hey was Jeffery Still upset about those problem children wild & "Crazy Flanders Campers" same ones as Granny Groses ?

What nice people at CJVWS!! They warmly welcomed us and only minimal ribbing about us taking their trophy once again. It was neat to see how they ran their meeting. I think we may have got some ideas out of it too!
Jeff did make mention of the the labor time to shine the trophy up after all the kiss marks... we really love that trophy! :)
