Title: Starting Engine today
Post by: lovebus (jack) on December 05, 2010, 08:10:52 am
Glenn is bringing his engine over this morning around 9 - 9:15 this morning so we can try to start it on the floor and see how bad it leaks.

Anyone is welcome to come over and tell us how to do it and what we are doing wrong. (o:

All it took was fixing regular maintenance items to get her banging on all 4, if only everyone was that lucky. It had two tight valves and bad Dist. cap and the new wires took care of the wires shorting. The only leak was the flywheel seal and we replaced that. Also has great oil pressure and compression, Should push you little buggy down the road with power to spare. Great buy Glenn!!!

Way to go!  Boy, that sounded nice!

Amazing what even general maintenance will do!

Great time to replace the oil seal, leaking or not

 CONGRATS!
