Because it was so popular and the food was so good
and there is only one more BWB after this one we will
head back to Newport and The Water Front Cafe.
91 Landing Road, Newport, NJ 10am
Should be home before Noon.
Because so many want to cruise down to Newport we will
leave The Acme at 9 AM SHARP!
Acme, 20 S Delsea Dr, (RT-47) Clayton, NJ 08312 leave at 9am and arrive around 9:45 at the Cafe We will cruise down via RT-553 all the way so you can meet us along the route if that is better for you.
Some members will be camping That weekend and meet us in Newport.
will this be a cruise, same route as the last time?
We could caravan or just meet there, what ever folks want to do.

I think caravan from our camp site to the Waterfront Cafe is a good idea. Whose with me?!?!?!?!?
Belleplaine State Park is 20 miles/40 minutes to the east. That was a sweet park! Biking, a lake, walking trails, obstacle courses, fire rings for the Fire Lady, very scenic. Nice warm up for the buses... Then we could caravan over to breakfast.
Dam, I would love to go camping but I have to head up a planed work party at the cemetery that Sat. can't get out of it. bawlin)0

33 mi from Del MemBr... not 2 Hrs.... And it's the BEST breakfast of any of the places we've eaten.

If anyone is interested after the breakfast, I'll open the garage doors and show off the Caldwell (nee Autodynamics) D13 formula vee racer.
We're in Bridgeton, one mile from the 553 junction with 77. You can convoy from Newport, or just stop by at your leisure. Go west on 49, past the Court House two blocks (huge school on right) turn right on West Ave. for one block, then right at fork.
The road spills into my driveway, 239 W. Commerce St.

OK, I was in touch with Gary and for those that want to we will stop by his place after BWB Sunday to take a gander at his Vee racer.
Jim T. also use to have a Vee.
I know back in the 60's you could build a open wheel Vee for little money and all cars had a stock 40HP engine and trans. I'm sure the cost has gone through the roof by now. The Super Vee's could have bigger engines but I really don't remember what now, I'm sure Gary can fill us in on it when we visit.

Matt's house to eats 2.0 hr.s
assuming Jack would be bringing me back home.... double the above.
6.5 hr.s of driving..... but then again, 4 of those hours he would have incredible company to enjoy on his drive...
so.. I am thinking it is the remaining 2.5 hr.s of driving that makes the pancakes not worth it to him.....
