How many members and family members are gonna come on out and support Holly at the MS Walk in Washington Lakes park? I will be bringing 3 family members and myself. I hope to see ALOT of SJVWC members and their family supporting a great cause. "MugMan" i need some club shirts! 1-xl and a 2xl.. if u can bring it to the BOD meeting! thnx

Sat is the 16th.

Sunday, April 17
Registration starts at 9 a.m.
Walk starts at 10 a.m.
(Rain or Shine)

lol this was a nice walk last year i think i only made one lap around the park and they informed me that it was two laps.  i used the excuse that i needed more coffee then bailed the second lap (early morning and late night the night before).  the real master was Jack AKA "Keyser Soze".  he walked off the trail to take a video of everyone walking And like that, poof. He's gone.

That's right! Maybe those same girls who couldn't understand why there were old VW buses and bugs in the park will be there again.

Thank you all for your support. I really do appreciate it:). BTW if you want to volunteer, they need people to pass out water and stuff like that the day of the walk:). They didn't get many people to sign up to do it this year.

I think I could handle passing out water, that way I won't pass out from walking. Sign me up.

Can a kid volunteer to hand out water? My nephew wants to hand out..

For us to walk with u, do we have to register as a participant or do u have a limit on how many walkers walk with u? I saw on their site each person over 12yrs must register. I'm bringing 3 adults and 2 kids. Do i register each one or we can donate it to your team? IDK wat 2 do :confused04:;

The walk is Sunday the 17th. If you just want to walk you don't have to sign up unless you are going to get donations. If you want to volunteer to hand out water, snacks, etc... it doesn't cost anything. Responses on here still go to my Dad's email which I don't really check unless I'm at my Mom's. There are NO words to tell all of you how THANKFUL I am for what you did today and for all of your help with the walk and your support. Hopefully next years walk won't be the same day you guys have a car show too:). THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

I think someone was slacking  whistleegi I only saw her come past our rest stop once. byeby.,

I had a great time watching Rich and Glenn handing out water and they did it with with such zest on a cool morning walkers took cold water even if they didn't want it.

         I wanted to THANK ALL OF YOU for all your hard work with the walk. As of today the team raised $2,769.00. Plus the sponsors of our shirts which was another $400.00 to our team. Also thank you to the members of South Jersey VW club who volunteered to help at one of the rest stops. I think that is huge since this was our first year as a team and how tight things are for many these days. I hope you all will join me again next year and hopefully we can recruit some new members. If anyone has more donations don't forget to send them in by June 15th. It means the world to me that you all stood next to me with this. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
